One of the most common questions Savor gets is: How do I know what size board or box I need? To determine the best answer, you must first ask yourself, is the charcuterie going to be used as a graze, or the main meal?
- If the charcuterie board or box will be used as a graze, this means that it is an hors d'oeuvre or appetizer.
- If the board or box is going to be the only thing served, or one of few things, then it needs to be bigger to feed the same amount of people more food.
For example, you're having a party with approximately 10 people. You're preparing dinner, but you want something for the group to munch on while you prepare the food. We would suggest our Classic Artisan Board because it grazes 10-12 people. This will probably be just enough, or leave you with a little left over.
